The Pittsburgh Steelers woes

The Pittsburgh Steelers were 2-0 after the first two weeks of the season. Their offense looked strong, connecting on all cylinders, and as always their defense looked ferocious. Willie Parker rushed for two touchdowns in their season opener against the Houston Texans, tying his touchdowns from the previous season due to injuries. Ben Roethlisberger looked strong in both his first two starts staying poised in the pocket and finding the open receivers.
Their third game of the season against their same-state rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, things went badly. Ben Roethlisberger was sacked numerous amounts of times. He was pressured in the pocket and knocked down hurting his throwing hand and throwing shoulder but he toughed it out for the rest of the game. Even more importantly, their star running back Willie Parker sprained his knee after only 20 rushing yards. The Steelers ended up losing 15-6. They won thier fourth game against the Baltimore Ravens but barely, by a last second field goal. Willie Parker's backup Rashad Mendenhall separated his shoulder in the game and is out for the year. With both of their running backs sidelined, and Ben Roethisberger struggling since the Eagles D beat on him, on top of playing the upsurging Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, look for the Steelers to struggle for the next few weeks.
