Bush soars, Saints fall

The New Orlean Saints played their division rivals, the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night. Viking's superstar Adrian Peterson was held to 33 yards, averaging just 1.5 yards a carry, yet the Vikings still came out on top. Thirty-seven year old Gus Frerotte and their strong defense led the charge last night. Gus Frerotte threw a fourth quarter touchdown pass to Bernard Berrian to tie the score. The Saints marched down the field without much time left and attempted the game winning field goal, but missed. The Vikings offense was able to drive and did what the Saints could not, and made the game winning field goal.

Saints runningback Reggie Bush led the Saints with 279 all-purpose yards, scoring on two punt returns. If I was told before the game that Reggie Bush would return two punts for touchdowns and the Vikings Adrian Peterson would rush for 33 yards, I would not believe the Vikings won.
