Many people have questioned the Raider's owner Al Davis for the firing of head coach Lane Kiffin. Many people, including those inside the locker room thought Kiffin was moving the franchise in the right direction. But as Al Davis notoriously said, "I don't have time to wait for Lane Kiffin to become a good coach, besides I only want a coach for about five years anyway". They also disagreed on many other issues, such as the drafting of JaMarcus Russell as the number one overall pick.
So with a new head coach leading the charge, and running back Justin Fargas healthy for Sundays action against the New Orlean Saints as well as just coming off the buy week, the Raiders are looking good.
