Kurt Warner contimplating retirement

Kurt Warner started out his career in the AFL, the Arena Football League. He made his way into the NFL and became a starter for the St. Louis Rams. With the Rams he won a Super Bowl and two league MVP's. Later in his career he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals. He did not come in and become the starter right away, he had to earn it. He eventually won the spot over young quarterback Matt Leinhart. This season he was done very well, ranking in the top five quarterbacks for fantasy points.
Last week against the New York Jets, his team was trailing by three touchdowns with only five minutes left in the game. He threw up a deep pass in the endzone to wide receiver Anquan Bolden. Bolden was sandwiched between two defenders and went down hard, he was taken off the field on a stretcher. He was diagnosed with a broken nasal cavity, and required surgery. Kurt Warner took this injury hard, he felt responsible for leading Anquan Bolden into harm. This is when he made the statement that he is considering retirement.
