
Randy moss caught a touchdown pass in the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs. Tom Brady did not throw it to him. Tom Brady suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of this game. Later on in the game, backup quarterback Matt Cassel completed a third and long pass to Randy Moss to keep the drive alive. Later on in the drive he caught a go ahead touchdown pass in the back of the endzone, earning himself 17 fantasy points. Over the next two weeks he was held in check only have a few catches, having 2 points in each of the next two games. With a buy week in week four, Matt Cassel and Randy Moss were given time to work on their timing. Cassel got a better feel of Moss' routes and Moss got a feel for the way Cassel threw the football. In Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, Moss caught a long touchdown pass and earned himself another 17 fantasy points.
